Warrick Grier presents BlackBird at Golden Arrow Studio, Baxter Theatre Centre, from 22 March - 9 April.  The show is written by David Harrower, directed by Bo Petersen, and stars Warrick Grier, Deborah Vieyra, Rebekah Nathan and Lucy Giffard.

"Anyone who's ever tried to revisit a failed relationship-a broken love affair, a marriage that ended in bitter divorce, a childhood with abusive parents-will understand the challenge Una and Ray face as they sort through the secrets and self-deceptions, trying to comprehend their illicit love affair so they can move forward into the light of the dark black night. Blackbird dissects the social taboo of paedophilia, but also transcends that subject, finding universality in extreme circumstances."

The show is rated PG 13 and lasts approximately 80 minutes.  Tickets are R100, and R75 for students and seniors.  Groups of 10 or more can get a group rate of R80.  For more information, visit the official website.
