(4/25/2012) The Artscape Theatre Centre celebrates local creativity with several home grown presentations in its upcoming line-up – three dramas and an operetta. The programme for the next two weeks also includes opera, belly dance and a fundraiser for Cape Town City Ballet.

(3/29/2012) Dancing in the Street, the current show featured at the Barnyard Theatre, gives you the opportunity to party all over the world at various famous carnivals, celebrations and festivals. It will criss-cross the globe and visit exotic destinations like the Rio Carnival, the Mardi Gras Carnival in New Orleans, The Cape Minstrel Carnival in Cape Town, St Patrick’s Day in Ireland, The Halloween Festival, The Soccer World Cup 2010 in South Africa and a New Year’s Eve celebration at Times Square - New York.

This new 500-seater theatre will open its doors to the public on 20 March 2012 for SIX OF THE BEST, a tribute to Freddie Mercury, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf, Billy Joel, Cher & Pink which then runs until 29 April.
